Why Clothing That Grows...?
We believe that garments and fabrics, like people,
grow over time.
Natural fibers gradually soften and adapt to the body,
and as time passes, they begin to reflect the wearer’s own expression.
This is not deterioration, but change.
Not consumption, but accumulation.
Rather than being driven by trends,
we hope to create pieces that quietly stay close to one’s daily life.
Over time, they may be passed down within a family,
carrying the time of another person.
As they are worn over many years,
their colors may shift.
These changes are traces of time shared with the wearer—
subtle fades and variations, marks of everyday life.
If the color softens,
they can be dyed again with plants or even coffee from our surroundings.
Worn once more,
they continue to gather time.
Passed from one person to another,
and eventually returning to the earth.
If they could exist in this way,
we could ask for nothing more.
