Pojagi-inspired Tapestry

Small pieces of fabric and leftover cloth, gathered from the process of making garments.

Each piece has its own color, texture, and character. Carefully brought together, they are transformed into a tapestry inspired by the traditional Korean art of Pojagi.

The name “karekinihana” carries the meaning of something that has withered coming into bloom once again.

Even the smallest pieces of fabric, once thought to have served their purpose, can take on a new life through the hands of a maker.

We embrace the natural beauty of each fabric, preserving its original selvages, raw edges, and unique textures.

Hang it by a window and enjoy the way sunlight filters through the cloth.

Use it as a room divider, wall hanging, or noren curtain.

We hope it brings a quiet sense of beauty and warmth to your everyday life, in whatever way you choose to enjoy it.

Each design is unique, with only one or two pieces available.
