glass imeca についてのご紹介
京都と福井を繋ぐ鯖街道を車で走らせ滋賀県大津市葛川という場所。
山々と安曇川上流の美しい眺めを見ながら山あり谷ありの道をぐんぐん進んだ先に
作家、神永朱美さんの工房があります。
2023年に工房を移されリノベーションされた古民家は周囲でも一際目を引く可愛らしさ。
山深い季節には薪ストーブやガラスのガス釜で暖をとり白化粧の山々を眺めながら自然と調和した暮らしは憧れそのものでした。
物腰しが柔らかく、とても愛らしいお人となりからは想像が出来ないほどに、
作品を生み出す際にはスイッチが入ったかのような物凄い集中力と俊敏さに惚れ惚れさせられる格好良さ。
そんな神永さんが生み出す作品は吹きガラスにより全て手作り。
ゆらぎ、膨らみ、光を通した際の美しく輝く色合い、そして泡。
ひとつとして同じものがないため、出来れば直接手に取ってご自身のお気に入りを見つけて欲しいと思います。
あわだまを封じ込めたガラスの器は目で見て楽しみ、飲み物を通してみえる泡が美しく使っている最中にも楽しめます。
そして彼女の代表作ともいえる〝琵琶湖彩〝
作品を生み出す場所でもあり、400万年以上もの歴史ある壮大な琵琶湖の水草を灰にしてガラスの中に溶け込ませるとなんとも美しいグリーンに。
また酸素がある状態（酸化）か酸欠のような状態（還元）で焼き上げるかによっても化学反応で緑の濃淡が大きく変わるというから面白い。
日々の暮らしに彩をもたらしてくれるようなglass imeca の作品。

Introduction to glass imeca
The place is located in Kuzugawa, Otsu City, Shiga Prefecture, after driving along the Saba Kaido (mackerel road) connecting Kyoto and Fukui.
The artist, Akemi Kaminaga's studio is located at the end of a mountainous valley road with beautiful views of the mountains and the upper reaches of the Ajimu River.

The old house, which was renovated in 2023 after the studio was moved to a new location, has a lovely appearance that stands out even in its surroundings.
In the deep mountain season, she heats her house with a wood stove and a glass gas oven, and as she gazes out at the mountains with their white makeup, I found myself longing to live in harmony with nature.
Her soft-spoken and lovely personality is hard to imagine,
When she creates her works, she is so focused and agile that it is as if a switch is turned on, and she is so cool that you can't help but fall in love with her.
All of Mr. Kaminaga's works are handmade by blown glass.
Fluctuation, bulging, beautiful shining colors when light passes through, and bubbles.
Since no two pieces are alike, we hope that you will find your own favorite piece by holding it in your hand.
The glass vessels that contain the bubbles are pleasing to the eye, and the bubbles that are seen through the drink are beautiful and can be enjoyed while being used.
And her masterpiece “Biwako-sai” (Lake Biwa Color).
The waterweeds of the magnificent Lake Biwa, which has a history of more than 4 million years and is also the place where she creates her works, are turned into ash and dissolved into the glass, resulting in a beautiful green color.
It is also interesting to note that depending on whether the glass is fired in the presence of oxygen (oxidation) or in a state of oxygen deprivation (reduction), a chemical reaction can greatly change the shade of the green.
