Product Description
A small vessel that sparks the imagination —
perhaps as a subtle bud vase, or as a holder for toothpicks.
Part of its charm lies in deciding how you would like to use it.
Its compact, softly rounded form is irresistibly endearing.
Each piece has its own character, and when three are displayed side by side — like siblings of varying heights — they create an especially charming scene.

Artist
Dai Shikai
2017 – Entered the Tochigi Prefectural Ceramic Art Support Center and studied under Minoru Suzuki.
2019 – Became independent and established his studio in Mashiko, Tochigi.
Primarily in Tochigi, Ibaraki, and Fukushima, Shikai personally gathers clay and stones from nature.
Through repeated experimentation — almost like engaging in a dialogue with the earth — he creates truly one-of-a-kind works.
Fired in traditional wood-burning kilns, his pieces highlight the natural character of clay and stone.
They possess a quiet strength while maintaining a humble and gentle presence.
