Kinari – Small Oval Plate
Just the right size for six pan-fried gyoza.
One can almost imagine a freshly prepared plate being set down at the table, ready to share.
The maker, Chie Kitai, often says that she hopes these plates will be used for serving gyoza—and once you arrange them side by side, it becomes clear why. The proportions feel remarkably natural, as though the plate was made for them.
Of course, its uses extend far beyond dumplings.
Appetizers, seasonal fruit, small bites to accompany a drink, slices of seared bonito, fresh tomatoes—the possibilities are endless.
With its gentle shape and balanced proportions, this plate creates a pleasing sense of space on the table while inviting creativity in presentation.
Size
Approx. W23.5 cm × D12.5 cm × H3 cm
As each piece is handmade, slight variations in glaze, color, texture, and size may occur. We appreciate your understanding before purchase.
