こうして2020年 琵琶湖の水草を使い発色させた色ガラス
「琵琶湖彩」が誕生しました
水面を表す様なゆらぎのある形や光で輝く泡
一つとして同じものはなく
吹きガラスならではのたおやかな形が魅力
飲み物を注いだ際の泡の見え方がとても美しく、目で見て使って尚良さが感じられます
冷茶はもちろんのこと、ハーブティーや冷酒などにも相性が良く、より一層豊かな時間をもたらしてくれるお供になるでしょう
耐熱ガラスではなく、急激な温度変化に弱いため温かい飲み物を入れる際にはまず40度ぐらいのお湯で温めていただいてから温かい飲み物を注いで頂くことをお勧めします

2017 Established “glass imeca”, blown glass in Otsu City, Shiga Prefecture, Japan
Lake Biwa, an ancient lake with a history of over 4 million years
Absorbing a lot of energy from the life that lives shimmering in the lake water from the mud that piles up at the bottom of that lake
The waterweeds that sway and live in the lake
The waterweeds were shared with us and turned into ash, which was then blended into the glass to create the beautiful and gentle color of Lake Biwa.
Thus, in 2020, “Biwako-sai,” colored glass made from the waterweeds of Lake Biwa, was born.
The shimmering shape like the surface of the water and the bubbles shining in the light
No two pieces are alike.
The graceful shape unique to blown glass is appealing.
The bubbles are beautifully visible when you pour a drink into it, and you can feel the beauty of the glass even when you use it with your eyes.
It is suitable not only for cold tea, but also for cold sake.
