2012年 奈良県宇陀市にて尾形アツシ氏のもとで修業を経て独立

Product Description
The moment we first laid eyes on this vessel, the word wabi-sabi came to mind.
Within its quiet simplicity lies a profound beauty.
When touching this flower vessel, one cannot help but feel a natural sense of poise — as if gently reminded to stand a little straighter.
Kitai created this piece inspired by her own interpretation of a traditional heishi (sacred sake vessel).
The subtle variations in tone created by layers of slip form organic patterns that shift in expression depending on the angle from which they are viewed.
A delicate line of kintsugi, quietly placed along the rim, adds a refined touch — an understated elegance that feels both intentional and poetic.
It is a piece that invites long companionship, one to live alongside through the changing seasons.

2010 – Studied at the Tajimi City Ceramic Design and Technical Center.
2012 – Completed an apprenticeship under Atsushi Ogata in Uda, Nara, before establishing her independent practice.
2024 – Established her current studio in Taka Town, Hyogo.
2016 & 2025 – Participated in Toshishibito no Tsudoi, Sakai, Osaka.
